Three years after the start up Pwani Jatropha Enterprises have produced their first drops of jatropha oil. This marks an important milestone in the project. Pwani Jatropha Enterprises is a biofuels project in Kenya, supported by Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) and ZERO.

ZERO have for several years worked together with Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) with renewable energy in development project in Kenya and Brazil. These two recently published reports on micro hydropower and conversion of generators from diesel to bio oil, describes some of the work that ZERO and NCA are doing together. Hopefully they can also be useful to others working with similar projects.
