Heidelbergs cement’s plant in Brevik, NORCEM
One study is already started in one of the cement manufacturer Heidelbergs two cement factories in Norway (Norcem). The project will examine to which extent excess energy from production of cement can be utilized for capturing of CO2. The study will also establish important knowledge about individual challenges for the cement industry and evaluate how different capture technologies can be fitted to cement plants.
